About Webster survey Group

Webster Survey Group (formerly Neil A. Webster & Associates) is a family owned and operated business that has been proudly serving the public and private sectors since 1979.

Neil Webster started the business over 35 years ago, moving to Eltham in 1980. Since that time the business has expanded and continues to grow.

Neil’s son Evan Webster joined the business full time in 2011 ensuring that the family ethos will be maintained.

Neil Webster

If Michael Hussey is 'Mr Cricket' then it could be said that Neil has earned the title of 'Mr Land Surveyor'. At university Neil originally set out to be an Industrial Chemist. He soon realised this wasn't for him and wanted to find a different profession. Fortunately Neil replied to an advertisement for a cadet surveyor at J.S Watsons & Associates where he was duly accepted for the position despite not knowing what was involved.

Neil has now spent more than 50 years working in the Land Surveying profession and in 2012 was awarded 50 year membership with the Institute of Surveyors, Victoria. Outside work Neil enjoys playing competitive tennis and working on his farm in South Gippsland.

Evan Webster

Evan joined the business full time in 2011. He however believes his surveying career began when his dad used to make him hold 'the pole' in the field when he was just six years old.

Prior to joining Webster Survey Group Evan worked for a property development firm in Melbourne where he was responsible for the delivery of large broad acre residential subdivisions. Following this he spent several years overseas working for one of the largest surveying companies in the United Kingdom where he worked at a variety of locations including Heathrow Airport and along the Royal Mile in Edinburgh. He still laughs when he remembers working outside in Scotland during winter when the temperature was minus 16 degrees.
